MEET THE FOUNDER
Joe Mirabella
Joe Mirabella founded Suns Out to help organizations communicate with clarity and purpose. He brings more than 15 years of experience advising leaders, developing stories, and navigating high-stakes moments.
At We Communications, Joe served as Director and then Vice President of Executive Communications, leading executive communications strategy supporting Microsoft senior leaders. His work spanned executive narratives, thought leadership, speechwriting, digital presence, and presentation coaching.
Previously, Joe served in the City of Seattle’s Office of the Mayor and as Communications Director for the Office of Economic Development. His responsibilities included spokesperson duties, speechwriting, media preparation, and public communications during emergency activations.
His earlier career includes communications and advocacy work at All Out and Change.org, bringing an international perspective to his practice.
